Self-protection
Most situations can be de-escalated.
That’s always the goal.
But what about when verbal de-escalation doesn’t work? What then?
Despite our best efforts, some situations can still become physical. And when they do, many people feel unprepared.
Knowing how to protect ourselves isn’t about fighting.
It’s about staying safe, reducing harm, and creating the opportunity to disengage.
Having some simple but effective practical skills, used as a last resort, can make a significant difference in those critical moments.
Of course, de-escalation will always come first.
But having a backup plan is essential.
I’m now offering personal and small group training focused on safe, controlled responses when situations turn physical.
